Since November 2023 our recycled cobalt sulfate has been used to produce copper cathodes at El Teniente: 22% cheaper, 40% lower consumption and a single daily addition instead of three.

We receive batteries from phones, laptops, power tools, electric vehicles and BESS systems at our Santiago plant, or coordinate pickup with licensed transport. What types of batteries do you accept?
Every lithium-ion battery: small formats (<5 kg) from phones, laptops and micromobility, and large formats (≥5 kg) from electric cars and buses, machinery and stationary BESS storage. See what we recycle and how the process works.
What happens to my batteries after I hand them over?
They are discharged, dismantled and ground into black mass, which we process with our own hydrometallurgy into cobalt and nickel sulfate, copper and aluminium. Those minerals return to industry: our cobalt sulfate is already used to produce copper cathodes at Codelco El Teniente.
I am a producer or importer — how do I comply with the EPR law?
Law No. 20,920 sets growing collection targets starting in 2028. We manage your batteries as hazardous waste with full traceability and valorization certificates that back your declaration. Read our EPR guide for producers and the year-by-year targets.
How do I prepare and transport batteries safely?
Covered storage, terminals protected with insulating tape, spill-proof containers and licensed hazardous-waste transport, which we can also coordinate. Here is the complete preparation guide.
Can I track the history and impact of what I have recycled?
Yes. The client portal shows your delivery history, recovered minerals, environmental impact (CO₂ avoided, tree and water equivalents) and downloadable certificates.
