A spin-off with a real industrial track record
Ecobaterías was born from two stories: the solar energy of SolarPro Chile and the hydrometallurgy of EcoProjects (EcoMinería). We are not an idea on paper: we are an operation that already produces and ships recycled minerals.
Urban and circular mining
The energy transition is creating a new kind of mining. Every end-of-life battery is a small deposit of lithium, nickel, cobalt, copper and aluminium; managed poorly it is an environmental liability, managed well it is strategic infrastructure.
Chile has the resource, the regulation and the need. What was missing is the infrastructure. Our vision is to build the first scalable lithium battery recycling platform in the country — and we are already the first company of its kind in Latin America and the only one operating in Chile.
