SOH is a battery’s state of health: the capacity it retains compared with when it was new. EL (electroluminescence) and I-V (current-voltage curve) are the tests that reveal a panel’s cracks and measure its power. Every service is listed under services for lithium batteries and solar panels.
Write to us
Choose a topic and tell us the type, condition and approximate quantity of batteries or panels. With that we prepare a proposal for the right service and, if recycling is involved, the certificate you need to report under Chile’s Extended Producer Responsibility law (Ley REP, Law No. 20,920).
An individual rather than a company?
We also accept small quantities. This is the short route:
- Identify the battery. Laptop, phone, power tool, e-bike or scooter: they are almost always lithium-ion and none belong in household waste.
- Make it safe. Tape over the terminals and keep it dry. If it is swollen, burned or wet, tell us before moving it.
- Write to us. Pick “I am an individual, not a company” in the form and we confirm the drop-off point and time.
If your e-bike, scooter or power tool battery stopped working but is not swollen or dented, it may be repairable: see lithium battery repair and pick “Repairing a battery”.
Household alkaline cells follow a different route: write to us and we point you to the right waste manager in your municipality. Lead-acid, NiMH and other non-lithium-ion chemistries are quoted separately.

Press inquiries, theses and due diligence use the same form. Supporting documentation is released in full to counterparties under a confidentiality agreement; the permit detail is in compliance, permits and documents. Common questions are answered in the FAQ.
